The app measures the magnetic flux density at the side of the magnet S pole, and it is positive. On the other hand, it is negative at the magnet N pole. The X-axis is the upper side of the screen, the Y-axis is the right side of the screen, and the Z-axis is the front side of the screen. The app is simple to use, and the readings are accurate. 100 μT equals 1 Gauss, which is the maximum value for northward, and the minimum value for southward.
